We are fortunate enough to have made Disney our family vacation for the last 5 or 6 years. We usually have four travelers but this year we have 5 and we are cramped for room in our resort booking. Is there any way to ask or request an upgrade ?

Hi there, Jennifer! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for stopping back by and asking another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

Though it can mean a bit more planning, I've always believed that adding more Guests to your Walt Disney World Resort vacations adds even more opportunities for fun! Considering larger room options when adding an additional person to your Disney Resort hotel reservation is a great idea to increase everyone's comfort and experience an all-new Disney Resort hotel room!

Requests regarding room location and placement may be made by calling the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line. However, I would recommend booking a room specifically made to accommodate five Guests comfortably. Fortunately, you have quite a few options!

At Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Guests can reserve themed, family suites that are large enough to fit six people. In addition, you will also have access to a kitchenette area and a living room area. This is an adorable option for those looking for a bit more space.

If you are more interested in a traditional Disney Resort hotel room, there are actually 5th Sleeper Rooms available at both Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Both Disney Resort hotels feature rooms with a child-size pull-down bed that can comfortably sleep a child or smaller size adolescent.

Regardless of which option you choose, you and your family are sure to love any of these magical Disney Resort hotels!
