Howdy partner! Cristin, it's great to see you here again at planDisney with more Disney fun on the horizon.
Cristin, I am so excited to chat with you about my family's "home away from home" resort at Walt Disney World:
Disney's Wilderness Lodge. My husband could end every park day at
Geyser Point Bar & Grill, gazing across the water with a drink in his hand, so I appreciate this question!
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is another family favorite and your plan to enjoy dinner and a show before heading over to Disney's Wilderness Lodge to end the night sounds... in the words of Mary Poppins...
" practically perfect in every way." Just make sure to check the hours of Geyser Point Bar & Grill prior to your visit, especially if your dinner show time is 8:30 PM.
Now, Cristin, there have been times when my family has stayed at Disney's Wilderness Lodge when
a bus has been running between this resort and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, but this route is sporadic. You can check with a Cast Member before heading to the bus stop to see if this is an option on the day you visit.
Your other option is to
use the water taxi to Magic Kingdom Park and transfer accordingly. So, after dinner, you would take the water taxi to Magic Kingdom Park and then switch boats back to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Personally, I find the boat rides to be a bonus attraction, especially when the weather is nice!
I hope this helps as you're planning out your evening from the first song to the last call. If you have any more questions, just mosey on back to planDisney.
Lauren
