Does Fort Wilderness rent rain shields for their golf carts to help protect them from those pesky summer thunderstorms?

Hi Holly! I'm always excited to help guests with their Fort Wilderness questions. The golf carts are indeed a popular addition to any Fort Wilderness vacation whether you are staying in a cabin or in an RV site.  And yes Mother Nature loves to hand down those afternoon rain and thunderstorms in the summer months but unfortunately Disney does not offer the rain shields at this time. We have our own cart and we do not have a cover for ours but we often stick a towel or two in the front storage area so we have something to dry off the seats when we return from the parks. Most of the guests have the rain ponchos so even if it continues to rain when you need to be in the cart those usually are sufficient in protecting you as best as possible.
