When we were at Fort Wilderness this past September we had to go and get a cable modem from the Meadows Trading Post. If I bring my own wireless modem will I be able to get wireless internet for my computer?

    Hi there Carol,

Although the cable modem kits offered through Fort Wilderness are free for guests to use during their stay, you are more than welcome to bring your own in order to have wireless capabilities.  There is no authentication, and you should be able to just "plug and go."  If you do run into any issues, there is no support for modems not issued by Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, but you could always borrow one if need be.

Hope you have an amazing time at Fort Wilderness!  I was just there last week and I can't wait until my next wilderness adventure!

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
