Hi Megan! Thanks for bringing your question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is my favorite place to stay when I visit the Walt Disney World Resort. You will be happy to know, that guests staying at
The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort enjoy all the
benefits of being a Disney Resort guest.
Extra Magic Hours are my favorite benefit! I love having that extra time to enjoy one of the four theme parks every day! Other benefits include complimentary parking at your campsite, MagicBands, access to FastPass+ reservations 60 days before your scheduled trip and transportation to and from the Disney theme parks and Disney Springs.
One of my favorite things about Disney’s Fort Wilderness property, is the boat transportation to and from the Magic Kingdom Park! If you
rent a golf cart or bring your own golf cart from home, you can park it right at the marina! That way you can drive yourself back to your camp site, instead of boarding a bus, after an amazing day at the Magic Kingdom Park.
Speaking of the marina, you can view the 15-minute-long
Electrical Water Pageant- Magic Kingdom there nightly at 9:45 p.m. (weather permitting). The twinkling lights and fun music are just another perk of staying at your resort that sits right along the Seven Seas Lagoon.
Megan, you’ve picked a great property to stay at during your vacation! I hope you have a magical visit!
