Welcome back to planDisney, Fernando!
Thank you for stopping by with another great question. We are thrilled to continue to help you plan a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Traveling with your RV from your home state of Illinois all the way to Florida is already a great adventure on its own. At the end of your journey, you will
Be Our Guest and enjoy the magic of the great outdoors at the
Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Your campsite will be nestled in the middle of a pine and cypress forest, and will be equipped with features such as water, cable television and electrical hook-ups, a picnic table and a charcoal grill (most campsites also include a sewer hook-up). Be on the lookout for friendly neighbors like deer, rabbits, ducks and armadillos, and confirm the
dining,
amenities and
recreation opportunities available during your visit upon arrival - some experiences may have been impacted as part of the phased re-opening of this Disney Resort.
I contacted our friends at the
Car Care Center and Guest Services today to inquire about de-winterizing and winterizing services for your RV, and they informed me that these services are unfortunately not offered at the Walt Disney World Resort. Each Guest is responsible for de-winterizing and winterizing their vehicle at their own campsite, or hiring RV service providers in the area to assist them.
planDisney tips: As you prepare for your visit, be sure to check the latest
updates as the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort continues. Remember to link
valid theme park tickets to your
Disney account, make
Disney Park Pass reservations, and keep the latest version of the
My Disney Experience app on your mobile device.
It was a pleasure answering your question, Fernando! I hope this helps you while planning and that you stop by once again real soon for more tips and advice.
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
