    We will be at Fort Wilderness Dec 2nd. We have 2 adults using wheelchairs. The wheelchairs would be able to fold up to transport. Is the bus system or boat easier to use to MK? Thanks!

    Hi Michele!

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

    Fort Wilderness is huge and has an internal bus system.  Most likely, you will have to use the internal bus system first to get to a bus stop for the Magic Kingdom or to get to the marina to reach a boat that goes to the Magic Kingdom.  Based on my experience of pushing somebody in a wheel chair for a while, I think it would be easier to go from the bus to the boat.  However, I think I would make the decision on where I was located in Fort Wilderness when I started.  You might be located very near to the bus stop to the Magic Kingdom and the marina might be far away.  The bus to the Magic Kingdom is also generally faster, but I think the boat is more fun.  The boat also drops you off slightly closer to the Magic Kingdom entrance.
