Does Fort Wilderness charge to bring your own golf cart? Is there a place to unload my own golf cart?

    Hey there, Tina!

Welcome to planDisney! A stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness is the perfect way to immerse yourself in both magic and the great outdoors. And it sounds like your planning is off to a great start. Having a golf cart to get around this very beautiful, very big resort will save you a lot of steps during your visit.

Tina, you are welcome to bring your own golf cart to the resort, and there is no charge. You will need to present proof of insurance for your cart when you arrive, and there are minimum limits required. I spoke with a friendly Cast Member, and they shared that specific unloading and parking location information will be given to you when you arrive at the resort. You will be greeted by security, and they will direct you to your next stop, check-in. The Cast Member checking you in will give you all the details needed to unload your cart and where you can park it during your visit. I also want to mention that you will need to have your own ramp for unloading. The resort will not have these available.

During your stay at Fort Wilderness, plan a night to experience the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. This is a must-see show full of silly shenanigans and a feast for all taste buds. Don't forget to save room for dessert, it's famous!

I hope your upcoming adventure is magical!
