At the fort wilderness campground how many vehicles are allowed per site

    Hi Jon!

The Fort Wilderness Resort is certainly the most unique Disney Resort and has become a popular destination for many guests. It is almost like a park where you can spend an entire day enjoying all the amenities.

Whether you are in a cabin or on a camp or RV pad each site will allow two cars/trucks and a golf cart. This of course is if they can fit. Some of the RV’s are quite large so to fit two vehicles on the pads they must remain completely on your pad. They cannot infringe out into the road even an inch and cannot be parked on the grass in any way. The first rule about being on the pad completely is for your safety as much as anyone else’s. As other vehicles and campers pull into their sites they must swing wide and will need the complete roadway to do this safely. Vehicles that are parked into the road risk being damaged and hit. We park our auto as far back as possible as we understand how difficult it can be to back into these sites.

There is a little bit more leeway for parking the golf carts. They can often be seen parked on the grass next to the pads when there is not enough room.

The cabins offer parking in front for golf carts and there is a plug to charge them. When you use this space then you will only have room for one car.

Hope this helps in your planning for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!
