Going to Fort Wilderness Campground with grandchildren 12&7 yrs. Booked Hoop To Do Review.  Any other suggestions as to what goes on that they should see?  Thanks.

    Hi Margaret!

I'm thinking you are up for Grandma of the year!  How wonderful that you are planning a Disney vacation with your grandchildren!  Fort Wilderness is a fabulous property, with so many activities and special events, that you (almost) don't need to leave to head to the parks.   Some of our favorite things to do at "The Fort" include the nightly Campfire, Sing Along and outdoor Movie hosted by Chip and Dale, going horseback riding (you can make an appointment at the Circle-D Ranch and Farm -there are also farm animals that your seven year old grandchild might love)  and watching the Electrical Water Pageant from the beach at the resort.  We also love going to one of the two dinner shows (Hoop De Do Review and Mickey's Backyard BBQ, which you already have covered!)  The pools at the resort have recently been refurbished and themed with great slides!

Have a wonderful trip with your grandchildren!
