Hello! Fort Wilderness Campground - Are there bikes stands/racks around the store, pools, bus stops and Backyard BBQ for guests to park their bikes? Cheers

    Hi Rocky!

The Fort Wilderness Campgrounds is the perfect resort to bring your bike along with you for your Walt Disney World vacation. Although the resort is connected by sidewalks the distance from the front to the back is a couple of miles so walking is possible but surely not something you would want to do each day. Using a bike is an excellent way to get around and you will also use the sidewalks making it safe.

There are indeed bike racks at the bus area in the front and also at the marina. I have noticed them in the past at Pioneer Hall and definitely at the pool. I do recommend that guests go ahead and lock their bikes when they are being parked for any length of time. If you are going to be coming back after dark I also suggest a light on the bike since Fort Wilderness does have some darker areas along the sidewalks.

Enjoy and don't forget to explore the bike path that leads to the Wilderness Lodge. You can usually see many of the local deer and turkey in this area and it is a paved pathway.
