what other forms of ID are valid apart from drivers license and stateID

    Hi Venkata,

Welcome to planDisney! We're so happy you stopped by with your question. You are in the right place to find a path to the magic!

I'm guessing that you are a Disneyland local looking to take advantage of the SoCal Resident Ticket Offer. This special ticket offer is open to residents who live within ZIP codes 90000 - 93599 and can provide a valid, government-issued photo ID with proof of residency. Essentially, you must be able to present an ID that is government-issued and includes your photo as well as your current address within the eligible ZIP codes. Typically, the options are a driver's license or California state ID, as you mentioned. We have consulted Cast Members to confirm that utility bills, student IDs, etc are not considered as eligible forms of identification.

I know that's not what you were hoping to hear, but I do have news that may perk you up! The SoCal resident tickets expire May 15, 2025, and starting May 16, 2025, a new ticket offer is on the table! The Disneyland Anniversary Ticket Offer is a 3-day or 4-day ticket that is valid from May 16 - August 14, 2025, with the option to add on Lightning Lane Multi Pass or upgrade to Park Hoppers. Similar to the SoCal tickets, these park days do not need to be used consecutively or within 14 days of first use like standard theme park tickets. You would have until August 14th to schedule your 3 or 4 park visits, and that window is shaping up to be the Happiest Time of the Year!

You'll get to take advantage of all the new offerings for the 70th Anniversary Celebration, which are continuing to be unveiled! From the return of the beloved Paint The Night Parade and Wondrous Journeys at Disneyland to a brand new version of World of Color at California Adventure (complete with a pre-show starring The Muppets!) to the celebratory touches throughout the parks, you won't want to miss a thing ... and you won't have to with your special ticket! While the festivities kick off on May 16th, another wave of new offerings arrives on the 70th anniversary itself on July 17th, so you will get to take part in all the excitement!

Venkata, I hope we were able to create a little space for you to find your way to the magic in the next few months. I personally cannot wait to see Mickey and Minnie in their 70th-anniversary gear and find out what new celebratory sweet treats will be offered. I highly recommend staying up to date by following along on the Disney Parks Blog!
