What forms of ID do I need for my cruise

    Hello Alfredo,

Thanks for sailing by!  How exciting that you have Disney Cruise Line trip in the works!  At check-in at the terminal, all passengers will be required to present valid passports or other acceptable proof of citizenship.   Currently, United States' citizens who embark and disembark at the same U.S. port do not need a passport.  In lieu, they may present a government-issued photo identification such as a driver's license.  Children under the age of 16, traveling with their parents may bring a birth certificate.  You can find specific guidelines for your cruise and itinerary under My Reservations.  It's important to check to ensure you have all proper documentation to enter both the United States and each of the countries you will be visiting on your cruise well in advance of your sailing to allow ample time to secure the appropriate documentation.  Alfredo, even though a passport may not be required, I highly recommend ensuring everyone in your party has one in the unlikely event that you have an emergency and need to disembark the ship and fly home from a port of call.

I hope you have a magical voyage!
