Hi Barbara,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question! I completely understand where you’re coming from. Although I was lucky enough to be able to renew my pass for the past few years, my family members let theirs lapse. We really miss being a Passholder family, which is why I was so excited to hear that sales of new
Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes were going to be resuming later this month!
While I can’t give you a definitive answer about upgrading your 4-Day
Theme Park Ticket to an Annual Pass at this point, what I can say is that, based on past experience, Guests have been able to do so in the past by applying the value of what they paid for their ticket towards the new Annual Pass.
Because I presume that you actually purchased your ticket (and that it wasn’t, for example, a complimentary or discounted Ticket, purchased as part of a vacation package) there is a very good chance that you’ll be able to upgrade it by visiting
Guest Relations at any Theme Park or even the
Welcome Center at Disney Springs. The Cast Member who will help you at either location will be able to give you more details about your options. You can also
contact Walt Disney World Resort by phone or
by email if you’d like to get more information right away about what your options may be for your upcoming trip.
I hope my answer gives you all the information you need to be a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder once again! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
