Hi Kyle -
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm sure you will have such a blast kicking off the new year with a great vacation to the Western Caribbean onboard the
Disney Magic.
Though schedules might still change, most of the 7-night itineraries have formal night (or optional dress up) on the 2nd evening of the voyage. There is also a semi-formal/optional dress up night again on night 6. If you end up visiting Palo during your voyage for either dinner or brunch, remember to also bring a dressy outfit for this special dining experience on board. Speaking of outfits -- don't forget the pirate gear! You'll surely want to pack some items when you celebrate the
Pirates IN the Caribbean deck party during your cruise.
Do remember to check the Personal Navigator to confirm activity schedules throughout your voyage. You'll get this delivered to your stateroom each night, and this handy little newsletter is a wealth of information! All onboard activities, events & newsworthy items will be printed here daily. You can also download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app if you have a smart phone. You can connect to the ship's onboard WiFi network and use this specific app for free while you are out on the high seas.
I hope this helps. Please do write back if you have additional questions as you prepare for your magical cruise. We're always happy to help!
Have a spectacular vacation with Captain Mickey!
