Hello there, Oscar!
Ah, what a wonderful cruise you have waiting for you! I love a relaxed day at sea.
On any cruise that is seven nights or longer, you will typically see one formal night and one semi-formal night. The rest of your evenings will be cruise casual! Remember, formal and semi-formal dress is totally optional in the main dining rooms.
If you do pack some formal outfits then you should get as much use out of them as possible...so why not make a reservation at one of the
adult-exclusive restaurants? The beautiful atmospheres and delicious food at
Remy,
Palo,
Palo Steakhouse, and
Enchanté are well worth getting dressed up for. Keep an eye out for options like brunch or dessert tastings, too, and don't forget to make reservations when your activity booking window opens!
A dressy evening is also perfect for
capturing some core memories in photos! Keep your eyes open for onboard photographers, especially in the atrium before dinner. Our family photos on the grand stairs are some of my favorites!
I know sometimes my clothes tend to get wrinkled in my suitcase, so don't forget that the irons and
ironing boards are located in the laundry rooms on your ship. You can also do a quick load of laundry, or opt to have your clothes sent to the onboard laundry service. Just ask your stateroom host or hostess for details!
There is something so elegant about a cruise, don't you think? I hope you'll find plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful spaces onboard, Oscar!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
