Ahoy Chantelle,
What a fabulous voyage you are planning to take! The
Disney Magic at Sea sailings look positively amazing. These
Australia and New Zealand sailings onboard the
Disney Wonder promise to be lovely.
I
called Disney Cruise Line to ask about special nights planned on your specific sailing. The Cast Member who I spoke with let me know that currently there is a
Pirate Night planned on your cruise, and that all of the other nights show as
cruise casual. I would note; however, that there is still a lot of time between now and your cruise. The nights planned ahead of time are always subject to change, and are often not all set in place this far ahead of a sailing. I would not be surprised at all to see a formal, semi-formal, or dress-up night of some kind added to your itinerary. I suggest that you call Disney Cruise Line as you get closer to your sail date to inquire if any other special nights have been added.
Once you are onboard, you can always check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for the best, most up-to-date listing of activities and theme nights on board your ship.
Also, you should know that you are welcome to dress up on any night that you wish to on a Disney Cruise Line sailing. My family started long ago dressing up for dinner on cruises. While cruise casual is perfect for any of the
rotational dining, we enjoy heading back to our stateroom in the early evening to dress up. We then spend our evenings on the ship taking in shows, eating dinner, and hanging out in lounges feeling fancy. It is just a special thing that we like to do for our sailings; a way that makes it feel even a little more different than our everyday lives.
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Chantelle. Please feel free to sail on back to planDisney if you have any further questions!
