Hi again, Melissa! Thank you so much for returning to planDisney with another question. We are happy to see you!
For your two-night sailing onboard the
Disney Magic, a formal night is not listed. You can expect the attire for the first evening onboard to be
cruise casual, and the final evening onboard to be filled with guests in Pirate-themed attire. I don't want to dissuade you from dressing up, so feel free to bring fancier clothes to wear for dinner or for a
photo opportunity. You are free to get fancy if you so choose!
I can't wait for you to step aboard the Disney Magic and see all that is in store for your cruise. If you will be sailing with children, I highly recommend that you take some time during your first afternoon onboard to visit the
Open Houses that will be held in the youth spaces. These are times when the entire family can walk through the immersive areas reserved just for kids! You can meet the Disney Cruise Line Counselors and ask any questions you might have while the kids get comfortable in the play spaces.
If you haven't already done so, please be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Once you are on the ship, you'll have access to all of the information you will need for your voyage. From home, you can reserve
Port Adventures and onboard activities, but my favorite part of the app is the character-filled countdown that ticks down the very seconds till your adventure at sea begins. It won't be too long till it's time to sail away!
Please visit us again if you have more questions. It's a pleasure to help!
