Is there a formal night on a 5 night cruise ?

Hi, Andrea! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. It's great to have you here!

I'm happy to share that you can expect an Optional Dress-Up evening during your 5-night sailing. This is the perfect evening to dress up in formal wear and feel fancy with your fellow guests. There will be some excellent photo opportunities in the Atrium or Grand Hall, and you'll often find your favorite Disney Characters dressed up for the occasion as well.

Based on the arrival date you provided, I'm guessing you are sailing on the 5-night Western Caribbean itinerary aboard the Disney Dream. If this is your sailing, you can expect to enjoy Pirate Night on the second evening of your cruise, and Optional Dress-Up night on the fourth evening onboard. Cruise Casual attire will be encouraged for the remainder of your sailing.

Andrea, it won't be long before it's time for your adventure to begin. Please make sure you have the latest version of the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app on your smartphone. Here's a handy packing checklist to reference as you prepare for the fun. You still have time to sail back to planDisney if you have more questions. We'll be here for you if you need us!

    Happy Sailing,
