For formal night on the Disney Wonder, is a nice button down shirt for my husband and a top/skirt for me okay? We're thinking about taking our first ever cruise next spring. Still a few staterooms available for one certain cruise.

    Hi, Rochelle!

That's so exciting that you're considering taking your first cruise ever on the Disney Wonder -- that was the ship on which our family first sailed! I've never regretted time or money spent on a Disney Cruise Line vacation.

If you're thinking about formal night aboard the Disney Wonder next spring, you're either planning for a vacation to the Mexican Riviera or to Alaska. And if you're thinking of taking the Hawaiian cruise, I may have to volunteer to carry your luggage!

For Disney cruises consisting of 7+ nights, there are formal and semi-formal evenings at dinner which suggest formal wear (tuxedos/suits for men; evening gowns/dresses for ladies). Yet, I think your husband would be most comfortable with a collared shirt, dinner jacket/sport coat and slacks if he doesn't want to go the fully formal route. For you, a nice skirt and top would be appropriate. I personally like for my husband to make sure he has a dinner jacket or sport coat on a Disney cruise so that we can enjoy adult-only dining at Palo. For dinner or brunch, you're going to want to make sure you don't miss this experience, and a jacket is a must for gentlemen at this restaurant.

I hope that helps you plan. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
