Is there a formal night for the 3 day cruise leaving Fort Lauderdale on Jan 3,2027

Ahoy, Lee-Ann! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for cruising to us with your question.

It sounds like you will be starting next year in the best possible way... sailing with Captain Minnie and Captain Mickey! How exciting that you have plans for a Disney Cruise aboard the beautiful Disney Fantasy. I'd be happy to help!

When it comes to dressing for dinner, cruise casual attire is always welcome in the main dining rooms of the ship. On a 3-night sailing, it's not likely that you will have a Formal Night; however, it is possible that an "Optional Dress-Up" night will be listed. At this time, the suggested dining attire list has not been released for your specific sailing. When it gets a little closer, please return to planDisney, and we'd be happy to see if we can find the answer. Even if an "Optional Dress-Up" night isn't listed, feel free to dress your best for dinner and take pictures in the lovely atrium. A cruise is the perfect excuse to get dressed up if you are looking for one.

With your itinerary, it's very likely that you'll encounter boisterous buccaneers with a special themed Pirate Night onboard. Plenty of guests aboard the ship will take this opportunity to dress like a pirate, so if you think you'd like to get in the scallywag spirit of things, pack some pirate costumes or accessories. With your sailing date, you might be able to take advantage of some post-Halloween sales for the perfect pirate look.

One fun activity to look forward to aboard the Disney Fantasy is the interactive game, Midship Detective Agency. You can put your sleuthing skills to the test and help solve a mystery or two. Just remember to take good notes in your case file!

Lee-Ann, if you have more questions, please sail to planDisney any time. We'll be here for you!

    Happy Planning,

    Adrianna
