Hi there, Michael!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to “sea” you are headed out on a Disney Cruise Line vacation this summer! It appEARs that you may be headed out on my personal DREAM itinerary with two stops at Castaway Cay! My family loves spending the day at Disney’s private island so the thought of having two days there sounds amazing!
During your five-night voyage, you will have 3 cruise casual nights, one optional “dress up night” and one Pirate Night! Formal and semi-formal nights are reserved for voyages that are at least seven-nights in duration. So, no need to bring the fancy formal wear, but you will want to pack your pirate garb for an exciting
Pirate Night complete with a spectacular firework display (weather permitting, of course!). The nightly schedule has not yet been announced for your sailing, but typically the optional dress up night is held on your second night onboard. But, be sure to check the Personal Navigator or the Navigator app once onboard for a full and complete schedule of daily activities and entertainment.
Be sure to take advantage of all the
fun activities that you can do while at Castaway Cay. My favorite is the Castaway Cay 5K and simply enjoying the beach but can come up with a lot of things I would spend my time doing if I had more than one day to enjoy there! You can reserve activities once your Online Check-In and onboard booking window opens or if you prefer, you can inquire once onboard or even on the island!
Wishing you a magical and memorable adventure with Captain Mickey!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
