Hi there, Helen!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Disney Cruise aboard the beautiful Disney Dream is just around the corner! My family recently sailed the exact same itinerary and we had just the best time and I know you will too! Oh, I am so excited for you!
As you are packing, here’s what you need to plan for
dinner dress during your three nights onboard. Plan for one cruise casual night, one Pirate Night and one optional "dress up night". On Pirate Night, many Guests will choose to dress up as swashbuckling pirates for dinner and the after-dinner deck party and incredible firework show (weather permitting). Costumes for Pirate Night are completely optional, and you will not feel out of place if you choose to dress in costume or if you opt out! On the “dress up” night, it's up to you how formal you choose to get; you will see Guests in dress that varies from formal to cruise casual and everything in between!
Pirate Night is scheduled for your second evening onboard and the other two nights will be announced once you are onboard. From my recent cruise, the first night was cruise casual and the third night was the optional “dress up” night. I think there is a good chance your sailing will include the same schedule but check once onboard on the Navigator app to be certain!
Since you are sailing on a
Halloween on the High Seas themed sailing, there will also be some onboard Halloween-themed activities and many Guests will dress up for these onboard activities. Again, costumes are optional, but certainly add to the fun!
Wishing you a magical and memorable adventure at sea!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
