Hiya Deborah!
Welcome to planDisney! I love being an
Annual Passholder as it is my happy place and I love making the most of every visit. Annual Passholders must continue to make
theme park reservations for their trips to the Parks and right now I can book until my pass expiration date which is currently just shy of a year from now for me.
There is no set number of days that is the same across the board for all Passholders for how early you can book a theme park reservation. It's just based on your Pass expiration date and how many reservations your specific Pass allows you to make. I have the
Disney Incredi-Pass which allows me to make 5 reservations at a time. However, if I am staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, my 5 reservations are not counted towards the reservations made during my stay. It's like a bonus! So if I am staying for 5 nights at Disney's Contemporary Resort next month I can not only book 5 theme park reservations for my trip but also book 5 more for future trips to the Parks where I am not staying at a Resort. Now, don't forget the wonderful
good-to-go days that can appear at any time. These are days that bless Annual Passholders with the chance to not use one of their precious and limited reservations. These reservations are then returned so that they can be used for a future trip.
Now, if you are talking about
Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Lightning Lane Single Pass, if you are not staying at an Eligible Resort Hotel you will be able to purchase the passes 3 days before your Park visit. You are like all the other guests with tickets not staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. Don't forget to set an alarm as all the action starts at 7 am! You can make reservations for each day of your trip, three days in advance. So that means if you are visiting for a few days in a row and not staying onsite you will have several 7 am wake-up alarms to set to make sure you get what you want.
I hope this was helpful and you have a fabulous time!
Happy Planning!
