I forgot about the late check-in’s and early check-outs and booked my flights with hours to spare way before check in and way after check out. Are there ever times when the disney resorts will extend a late check out?

    Hi Ada,

Welcome home and thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm happy to help!

When I'm traveling to Walt Disney World Resort, I always schedule my flights to arrive as early as possible and leave as late as possible so I can soak up every minute that I can while I'm there! Although your room might not be ready when you arrive, you can always explore the resort, relax by the pool or even head straight over to the parks to start enjoying some of your favorite attractions. If you have any luggage or carry on items that you need to store, Bell Services will be able to assist you in your resort's lobby. Prior to your arrival, you can also do online check-in using My Disney Experience and select your expected arrival time. This will help your resort hotel know when to expect you, and hopefully they will spread some pixie dust and have your room ready soon after you arrive.

As a Disney Vacation Club Member staying on points, late check outs are usually not allowed, but you can always ask a Cast Member upon your arrival. Hopefully you can take advantage of the Resort Airline Check-In Service for your departure though and again store any carry on items with Bell Services once you check out of your room.

I hope you have a magical vacation!
