I forgot the family’s magic bands

Hiya, Claude, and welcome to planDisney! Oh, bother! I'm sorry to hear you left your MagicBands behind. My husband says the earlier he packs, the more likely he is to forget something. But all is not lost! Let's look at other options to keep the magic alive on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

My first suggestion is to set up Disney MagicMobile service on your smartphone. You can do this by opening your mobile app and tapping the three lines at the bottom right of your screen. This will take you to the Welcome screen, so scroll down to the "Disney Account" section.  Choose "Set Up MagicMobile Entry" and tap the blue plus sign at the top right of the next screen. Follow the prompts to add a MagicMobile pass to your phone's wallet. This can be used as your theme park entry, for Lightning Lane entry, and even charges to your Disney Resort Hotel.

Another option is to ask for a Key to the World card at your Disney Resort Hotel or any Guest Relations location. This complimentary plastic card is your theme park ticket, Disney Resort Hotel room key, and more. I like having a card as a backup anyway! If you go this route, one tip is that you'll need to physically scan attraction photos for them to link to your account; MagicBands and MagicMobile typically link ride photos automatically.

Finally, if you are set on the bling of a MagicBand or MagicBand+, you can purchase new ones at your Disney Resort Hotel and at most shops on property. I have several bands to match my Disney outfits, so maybe this was your sign to expand your band wardrobe! Any Cast Member can help you link the new bands to your account or follow the prompts in your app.

Claude, it happens to the best of us; we're sure we've thought of everything, but the most essential items get left behind. I hope I've given you some options to make your trip as smooth as Pooh Bear's honey. Have a magical time, and come back to planDisney!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
