I forgot to add a couple of my friends on to our trip, and now I will need to plan for them to go too. Can i add their park tickets on to my plan?

    Hi Katherine, welcome to planDisney!

It's never too late to add friends to your Walt Disney World Resort planning party, as long as there are theme park reservations available. At least that's what I try to tell all of my friends that are going on Walt Disney World Resort vacations, haha! Seriously, though, the more the merrier, especially when you'll be visiting during the merriest season of all.

If your friends plan on using the My Disney Experience mobile app to access park maps, view attraction wait times, make mobile food and beverage orders, view their Disney PhotoPass pictures, and more, I recommend they create their own My Disney Experience accounts and connect with you as Family and Friends in My Disney Experience. You can do this online by clicking "Add a Guest" at the bottom of your Family and Friends list and selecting "I'll enter their name and age." Once you enter an age over 13, select "Invite this Guest to connect" and enter their email address. This will send them an email invitation that, once accepted, will connect you as Family and Friends. If they decide not to have their own accounts, you can select the "I want to manage all plans for this Guest" option.

Once you and your friends are connected as Family and Friends in My Disney Experience, you can link their tickets. Enter each ticket's ID number online and click "Next" to validate. You'll then be asked to link each ticket to a member of your Family and Friends list, on which your friends should now appear. Once their tickets are linked, you can proceed to making theme park reservations, which are currently required for park entry.

As the head planner, you might also be in charge of making advance dining reservations for the group, which can be done 60 days in advance, or booking Genie+ Lightning Lane selections during your park days. Having everyone connected in advance will make those things much easier for you and the group. And now that you're connected with planDisney, just let us know what other trip-planning questions pop up over the coming months. We're hEAR to help!

    Choose magic,
    Jennifer
