Hi Sarah,
Thanks for using planDisney as a resource for your summer visit to Walt Disney World Resort. On hot summer park days, I recommend planning a midday pool break at your Disney Resort hotel or a lunchtime
table service dining reservation. Shows like
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-along Celebration at Disney's Hollywood Studios and
Finding Nemo: The Big Blue...and Beyond at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park are other great ways to keep cool.
I'm so glad you've heard about
theme park reservations! Once you've purchased and linked your tickets to your
My Disney Experience account, it's important to make a theme park reservation for each park day. When using tickets with the Park Hopper Option, like the 7 and 14-day Magic Tickets currently available to UK-based Guests through the
Walt Disney Travel Company, you only make a theme park reservation for the first park you plan to enter each day.
Theme park reservations can be
modified or canceled at any time without penalty. As a courtesy to other Guests, it's always a good idea to cancel your theme park reservations whenever possible. Theme park reservations are known to fill up, and one Guest's cancellation is often another Guest's dream come true.
On the topic of cancellations, you can cancel a table service dining reservation up to two hours prior without being charged. Subject to change, there is currently a $10 per person cancellation fee for dining reservations canceled within two hours of the reservation time, or for no-shows.
I hope this information gives you flexibility and peace of mind when scheduling your park days, Sarah. Please return to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
