Hello, Laura!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for bringing your question to us. It's an essential question, and we all have adapted to these new times as everything changed in the past months. My closest Disney Parks Moms Panel friends and I were just talking today, and we're all planning to build our own "mask wardrobes" to visit the
Walt Disney World Resort in the future. Some of us are even planning some Disney bounding options!
While the Walt Disney World Resort did not announce an end date for the face-covering requirements, I think that all who plan to visit in the foreseeable future should be ready to wear them. So far, we already know that wearing face coverings is one of the best (and easiest ways) to protect our health as well as the other people we interact with, such as other Guests and Cast Members. Because of that, I'm assuming that they will be standard for as long as we need them to mitigate the effects of the current pandemic.
For my family and I, Walt Disney World Resort visits are all about feeling good, sharing joy, and the belief that we can have happy endings if we combine good choices with a little bit of magic help. So, to me, wearing a face-covering embodies what Disney is all about: let's care for each other and create a happy ending for the health emergency we're facing right now.
Given that reality, I'm building myself a
legendary stash of masks so that I don't get bored when choosing what style to rock on my next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort in January. Some of them are the
awesome Disney-themed options you can find on
ShopDisney, and some of them are handmade designs that my talented friends are sewing for me.
I hope that you and your family have a
lot of fun picking your masks and face-coverings for your November trip, Laura. I bet you're going to share some good laughs when planning coordinating outfits!
If you have any more questions before your November adventure, please don't hesitate to come back. We're all here to help you make the most of your vacation!
May the magic (and the face-coverings) be with you,
Julie
