Welcome to planDisney, Yip Fung! I'm happy to clarify some information for you to make your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort go smoothly.
All Guests visiting a theme park at the
Walt Disney World Resort must make Theme Park Reservations until January 9, 2024. This includes Guests who have a theme park ticket with the Park Hopper Option. However, you only have to make a Theme Park Reservation for the first park you are planning to visit each day. Then, after 2 p.m., you'll be able to hop to any other park as long as that park has not reached capacity.
Starting January 9, 2024, Guests with date-based theme park tickets
will no longer be required to make Theme Park Reservations nor will they have to wait until 2 p.m. to hop to another park after visiting their first! What's more, you can add one of the dining plans to your vacation packages for vacations starting on that date too! The future is definitely looking bright and it'll be nice to enjoy a more simplified planning process!
Yip Fung, I hope you have a wonderful visit to the resort. And be sure to check out the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival before it ends on November 18, 2023! If you have any other questions,
feel free to reach out to me!
Stay magical,
Matt
