What foods are considered snacks on the dining plan?

    Hi Catherine,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I hope your Walt Disney World vacation planning is going great so far! Your vacation will be here in no time, I'm sure, and there's lots of magic awaiting you.

Adding a Disney Dining Plan to your Walt Disney World vacation package is a great way to enjoy delicious eats all around Walt Disney World with the added convenience of pre-paid meals peace of mind. On a recent trip, we added the Plus Dining Plan that included 1 Quick-Service Meal, 1 Table-Service Meal, and 2 Snacks for my wife and myself for each night of our stay, and we found it to be just the right dining option for us.

The food items that are considered Dining Plan snacks will vary among food service locations. In general, think of a snack as a single serving food item such as novelty ice cream treats, sweet treat baked goods like cupcakes and brownies and cake pops, a bag of chips or soft pretzel, whole fruit., or a scoop of popcorn. Snacks can also be beverages like a bottle of Coca-Cola or bottle of water. You can spot snack items on a menu by looking for the purple and white Disney Dining Plan logo. On our trip, we often used our snack credits at Main Street Bakery to pick up our favorite Starbucks beverages, which we could order in any size.

There are so many yummy snack options all around Walt Disney World that you can enjoy lots of sweet and savory satisfaction.

Catherine, here's wishing you a magical stay.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
