Going to food & wine for 1st time but we have some dietary restrictions in our party. Is it easy to modify the order like at other food locations? (Ex:no cheese, or no sauce) or is everything pre-portioned under a heating lamp?

    Hi Nicole!

Welcome BACK to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We LOVE when our long-time friends come back by to talk all things Disney. I'm excited that you're going to your first Epcot International Food & Wine Festival as it's one of my favorite Disney experiences. Did you know that the festival even hosts a concert series? Eat to the Beat amps up the fun to a treat for all the senses.

The ease of menu modification definitely depends on the item. Asking to hold the bread, going cheese-less, or skipping the sauce are usually pretty easy requests. Do note that the individual kitchens are limited in space and while every effort and precaution are made, there's always a risk of ingredient cross-contamination between the dishes.

Disney has become very helpful when it comes to dishes at Food & Wine. Menus for each Outdoor Kitchen will notate which items were designed to be Vegetarian or Gluten Free. There is even a master copy of all ingredients for all dishes located at the Festival Center hall. While the 2018 menus haven't been released yet, 'like and follow' the Disney Parks Blog across all of their social media channels so you'll be sure to see the post of when they are available, as well as articles of what not to miss.

Pro Tip: There are a few really great fan-spired webpages and blogs dedicated to just Disney food that have all the menus from the last few years. The menus do change a bit, but the previous lists are great for resEARching what to expect for your visit.

I hope this helped, Nicole, and We'll See You Real Soon!
