We have never been to food and wine before. Do you have to purchase separate tickets to purchase food? We have park hoppers as part of our package. I guess I basically need to know how it works :D

Hello Christine, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Come along on a culinary tour of the world as we chat about this popular event at Epcot!

I absolutely adore the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. I'm usually found near the Canada kiosk, dipping my spoon into the velvety Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup. So yummy!

The Festival itself is included in your regular Epcot admission price, but you will pay extra to sample the wares at the different kiosks around the park. Prices for these small plates generally run between about $3-$8 or so. You can pay with cash or credit card, or use a Disney Gift Card. And here's a Mom's tip for you: before you start sampling, pick up a specially-themed "mini" Disney Gift Card on a stretchy bracelet at one of the little shops on the promenade between Future World and World Showcase. It's fun and super convenient since you won't have to worry about digging out cash, and it's also a smart way to budget your spending as you decide which culinary treasures to try.

There are also lots of special experiences scheduled that you can reserve in advance. Many of these are more pricey, but you may find one that suits your taste perfectly.

I hope this helps you enjoy your tasty journey around the world, Christine. If you need me, I'll be planning my next sampling of the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
