Hiya Jason,
Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so happy for you that your trip is beginning in less than five days! You will have the most magical time celebrating the
50th Anniversary Celebration. Also, did you know that
EPCOT's International Flower and Garden Festival is going on during your visit?! It is one of my favorite EPCOT Festivals, and I always enjoy snacking at the Outdoor Kitchens.
To answer your question, in my experience, food vendors at Walt Disney World Resort almost always accept Disney Gift Cards. For instance, my Disney Gift Card is my preferred payment method for EPCOT Festival dining. With that being said, I have had experiences where a vendor didn't accept my gift card.
Disney Gift Card's website has a broad list of participating locations that Disney Gift Cards are redeemable at, but the list is not comprehensive and everchanging. The broad categories for locations where Disney Gift Cards are accepted are:
shopDisney.
Disney owned-and-operated locations.
Select locations not owned by Disney. But it doesn't honestly give you that much to go off of. Experience has taught me that the best way to find out if a vendor accepts your gift card is to ask the Cast Member working at the location. There have been times when a location that previously didn't accept my gift card changed the next time I visited. My motto is, "it never hurts to ask" before taking out your credit card or cash.
One last tip, if you have multiple gift cards,
combine all of the balances onto one single card. It is a lot easier to keep track of one card rather than trying to memorize which card has what on it.
Apologies I am unable to provide a more concrete answer to your question, but I hope the information I provided was helpful.
Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.
Happy Planning!
Ashley F.
