Do the Food Trucks in Downtown Disney have desserts? We are on the Disney Dining Plan, which includes dessert, but the Namaste Food Truck (and others) don't have dessert listed on the menu. Thanks so much! We can't wait for our Disney trip!!

Howdy, Randy! I'm always counting down the days until the next Disney trip. I did some research to try to track down whether or not the Downtown Disney Food Trucks have dessert options. The answer is no they do not have desserts at this point in time. Now, you can still use your Disney Dining Plan on an entree and drink at one of the Food Trucks if you wish, but unfortunately you'd have to give up the dessert. Whether or not it is worth it is completely up to you. If it were me, I would rather have lunch or dinner at one of the other amazing dining opportunities available at Downtown Disney. For Quick-Service dining I highly suggest Earl of Sandwich. The BBQ Chicken Wrap with Potato Salad is my favorite! As for Table-Service Restaurants, Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant or The Rainforest Cafe are always amazing. On my last trip in May I tried the brand new restaurant The Boathouse: Great Food, Waterfront Dining, Dream Boats. I had the Mahi Mahi tacos and a Mai Tai and it was the best meal out of my entire trip. The food was so fresh and flavorful and man do those drinks pack a punch! I'm still dreaming of those buttery bread rolls that were placed on our table before our meal. The Boathouse does accept the Disney Dining Plan, however since it is a Signature Dining Experience it is worth 2 meal entitlements. It is worth every penny if you choose to pay out of pocket for lunch, I promise!

I hope you have a fantastic culinary adventure on your Walt Disney World vacation. If you need anything else please be sure to stop in and ask!
