I want to have food and snacks in the room for the kids. Is there a best way to order food to be delivered to your room

    Hi Suzette!

It is so nice to arrive at a vacation destination with everything you need waiting for you. This can also be done when vacationing at Walt Disney World.

You have several options for this to happen and you just need to select the one that best fits your budget and plans.

Each of the Disney resorts will have a small store where you can pick up some basic foods and drinks. They will have some chips and assortments of foods as well as simple breakfast goods. If you think that is sufficient to what you require then I would go that route.

You can also Mail a box of snacks to your resort to arrive just a few days before you do. If you choose to do this, address it to your resort with the name that the reservation is under and the word GUEST clearly printed on the label. You can find the resort addresses on the Disney website. There will be a $5 handling charge for each box.

Your third option that is easy is to use a grocery delivery service. I have always used gardengrocer.com and have never been disappointed. Head to their website to see all the wide variety of foods and other goods that they offer. I recommend you put your order in a month ahead to ensure you get the delivery day of your choice as they will only allow so many deliveries each day. When your order arrives to your resort the Bell Staff will store it in the storage area. Perishables will be put in refrigerators etc so no worries there. Once you arrive contact the bell staff and they will be glad to deliver your order to your room. They can't put it in the room itself early as room assignments can change up to the last minute.

I am sure one of these options will work for getting the foods and snacks to your resort for a complete magical vacation!
