    Is food served family style at Akershus Royal Banquet hall, with the food brought to the table from the kitchen, or is it a traditional buffet line? One member of our party flatly refuses to eat at traditional buffets.

    Thanks for coming to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is such a fun dining experience because it combines tasty food with amazing Character experiences. We have enjoyed Akershus Royal Banquet Hall several times and it has always been a fantastic dining experience. Even with two sons, we love meeting our favorite Disney Princesses and my little guys have so much fun joining in their parade through the restaurant!

    You will find that Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is a dining experience that will please everyone in the family. All meals at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall begin with a "Taste of Norway", which is a buffet with several Norwegian options that will serve as your appetizer. Guests who are enjoying breakfast will then receive a full family-style meal of breakfast favorites. (The potato casserole is fantastic!) If you will be enjoying lunch or dinner, then you will select your meal from a menu and each Guest will be able to choose exactly what sounds good. Whether you will be enjoying breakfast, lunch or dinner, your main meal will be delivered to your table straight from the kitchen. So I think Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is a great Character Dining option for your group!
