Food question! At T-Rex, the menu says you can add a salad or soup for add'l $ and also substitute fries for chips for add'l $. If we are on DDP, are these things extra that we have to pay, or included as part of the meal? Also, T-Rex or RC, which is best?

    Hi there, Kristin!

First things first: which restaurant to visit? You really can't go wrong at either. There are delicious menu options at each one of the locations. The big question for you, then, could be atmosphere: do you want to dine with dinosaurs and experience a meteor shower, or feel like you are in a tropical rainforest with animatronic animals and a "thunderstorm" every so often? I tend to visit T-Rex more than Rainforest Cafe, but I am partial to the delicious flatbread pizza appetizer offered at the home of the dinos :)

According to Disney Dining, if the item is not included specifically with the meal, you will be charged the cost of the swap/addition. You will receive the upcharge on a separate ticket, just as you would with any non-plan item (e.g., a cocktail). That bill can be paid for with a credit card, debit card, cash, or Key to the World.

    Have a wonderful trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
