Ahoy, Linda, and thanks for visiting us at planDisney again with another great question.
One of the many things I love about cruising with Disney is the variety of meals available to all Guests at all times! Even if you aren’t in the mood to eat like a scalawag on
Pirate Night, have no fear, there are plenty of other dishes to tempt your tastebuds. Not only can you let your server know about any food aversions and sensitivities so they can point you in the right direction, you’ll also find a “Lighter Note” section on each menu with options that tend to rest on the milder side of the palate.
I also learned from another friend we met while cruising a couple of years ago that you can revisit favorite dishes from the other
rotational dining restaurants. Not only that, he taught me that you can turn an appetizer into an entree! He loved what he affectionately called the “pasta pillows” on the Disney Dream, and even though it was designed as an appetizer with just five pieces, our server turned it into a larger-sized entree for him. The rest of us then proceeded to do the same on the remaining nights of our trip!
It also looks like you may have booked a reservation at
Palo. You can always
call a Disney Cruise Line representative to try to learn what night
Pirate Night will be taking place on your specific sailing and then adjust your Palo reservation accordingly. You can also change your reservation once you board the ship if your dining schedule does not work out as expected.
Finally, don't forget to take advantage of the complimentary room service offered 24/7 if you prefer to enjoy a quiet evening in your stateroom together.
All that to say, I hope you are delighted and dazzled by more than just the fireworks on board. And if I can be of any more assistance, I hope you’ll visit us again here at
planDisney!
Bon voyage,
Sami
