Can you take food into the Fantasmic theater. We are fast passing the show, and would like to plan to grab food and eat it at our seats while we wait for the start of the show.

Greetings!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question.  I love any question that has to do with Disney dining.  Yum!

I think it is a fantastic idea to use a FastPass+ selection for the show and bring in dinner with you.  What is better than a picnic at Walt Disney World?  Because the theater is outdoors, you are welcome to bring in anything you'd like.  Currently, grab and go boxes are being sold for this very purpose at Min & Bill's Dockside Diner.  There are several options to choose from like fried chicken, a vegetable sandwich, shrimp salad and a roast beef sandwich.  Each box also comes with a couple of side items and a dessert.  Kids grab and go boxes are also available.  These grab and go boxes are currently set to be sold until December 31st but it always seems options like this are popping up with different offerings.  I would fully expect for these to be continued but with different entree items since these were considered to be the holiday offerings.  If these grab and go boxes don't interest you, I suggest grabbing a mac & cheese and truffle oil hot dog topped with bacon from Fairfax Fare.  It may sound strange, but I promise it is delicious.  Just a warning though, you will need napkins for this one!

I hope you have a very Happy New Year.  If I can help you with anything else, please feel free to ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
