Can you take any food or drink into any of the WDW parks?

    Hi Rebecca,

You can bring certain food items into the Theme Parks (as well as the Resorts) at Walt Disney World.  I have many times brought into the Parks (as well as the Resorts), snacks, sandwiches and bottles of water, etc... for both my daughter and I to enjoy.  She has been a very picky eater since she was little and it hasn't really changed yet, so anything that I could bring which could be eaten "as is", trust me, I brought it so she wouldn't starve for a whole day.  Now at least she will eat some foods that are served at WDW such as Casey's Corner mini corn dog nuggets (yummmmy!) and a few other tasty treats, but for the most part she does still love her own snacks I bring along.

The official word on this is listed on the WDW Website under the heading"Dining FAQ" (frequently asked questions), please see the following:

    Q. Can food be brought into Walt Disney World® Resort and Theme Parks?

    A. Guests are allowed to bring food items, such as snacks or foods that do not require heating, into any Walt Disney World® Resort. If you have items that need to be refrigerated, please ask the front desk Cast Member to have a refrigerator placed in your room. Please check with the front desk to see if there is a charge for use of the refrigerator. Guests are allowed to bring food items, such as snacks or foods that do not require heating, into any Walt Disney World® Theme Park. Just inform a Security Cast Member.

    Best wishes,
