Hiya, Joshua, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I’m happy to report that you can bring just about any food and drink items into the
Disneyland Resort, with the exception of a few things. Alcohol is prohibited from being brought into the parks, as are any glass containers (excluding small containers such as baby food jars). So, you’re welcome to bring in any food, snacks, or drinks that you’d like, assuming they meet those requirements. Just keep in mind that any backpacks, bags, or coolers that you use can’t exceed 24” long by 15” wide by 18” high. Also, loose ice isn’t allowed inside these containers, so I recommend bringing a re-usable ice pack to keep items cool, if needed. For more information about which items are allowed inside the Disneyland Resort, you can
check out the Rules here.
For your convenience, there’s a comfortable, shaded
Picnic Area located just outside the Main Entrance of
Disneyland Park. Here, you can enjoy your food in a tranquil setting during a break or on your way into or out of the theme parks. You can also store your cooler inside a
rental locker, which is adjacent to the Picnic Area.
In addition, if you prefer not to pack water bottles during your visit, you can ask for a complimentary cup of ice water at any
quick-service dining location. This is one of my favorite ways to cool off on a warm day in the parks!
Don’t forget to save some room for the
delicious treats at the Disneyland Resort, though! From Churros to DOLE WHIPS to popcorn, there’s a little something for everyone to snack on! The Pumpkin Spice Churro is my favorite seasonal treat right now – look for it in Tomorrowland near Star Tours – The Adventures Continue!
Wishing you a delicious and fun visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
