Is there any food or dining with low sodium or no sodium.

Hi there, Jennifer! Greetings and salutations from one Californian to another—it's your planDisney pal, Cody, ready to help you dig a little deeper into the world of low-sodium dining at the Disneyland Resort! I'm so glad you asked—fueling up for a magical day is as important as finding the perfect pair of Mickey ears!

The Disneyland Resort sprinkles a little extra magic on everything, including its dining options! It's like having your own personal Fairy Godmother in the kitchen, making sure there's something delicious for everyone. And, Jennifer, you’ll be delighted to hear that this includes plenty of delicious low-sodium choices!

There’s no need to wish upon a star for special arrangements in most cases. Your best bet is to chat with a friendly and knowledgeable Cast Member. When you arrive at a restaurant, simply let them know about your low-sodium requirements. They'll be happy to help, offering suggestions or guiding you to the perfect dishes—just like Lumiere lighting the way to a delicious meal! If you’d like more info on your quest to find low-sodium options at the Disneyland Resort, you can read all the details about allergy-friendly and special dietary requests here. And, if you have specific questions that aren’t addressed on this page, there’s also an email address you can reach out to for further assistance.

There are so many restaurants to choose from at the Disneyland Resort—which means there are lots of culinary adventures to be had! I recently enjoyed dinner at River Belle Terrace with a family member who required a gluten-free diet. Before we even mentioned it, the Cast Member who was attending to our table asked if anyone in our party had any food allergies or dietary restrictions. She was happy to accommodate the gluten-free request. What I loved most was that not only did the Cast Member repeat the special dietary request back to my family member while taking her order, but she also confirmed that the meal was gluten-free as she placed the plate in front of her when the food arrived. We all appreciated the reassurance that special care was taken to ensure my family member had an excellent dining experience.

I even had a similar experience myself at a restaurant at Walt Disney World a few months ago. I’m a vegetarian, and I’m also allergic to quinoa (who knew?!). Not only did the chef herself come out to the table to take my order, but she also personally delivered my quinoa-free, plant-based dish directly to the table. Talk about service! I love how mindful the Cast Members of Disney Parks are of special dietary needs.

And here's a little pro tip for you, Jennifer: You're absolutely welcome to bring your own snacks and food into the parks if there are particular low-sodium foods you enjoy! But, there are just a few things to keep in mind if you’ll be bringing outside food: Items may not be stored in glass containers, they must not require refrigeration or heating, and they should not have strong odors that may be unpleasant to other guests.

I hope that this was helpful, Jennifer! I love how thoughtful the Disneyland Resort is when it comes to ensuring that every guest has a magical time! May your Disneyland visit be as sweet and satisfying as a Dole Whip, and filled with low-sodium delights that keep you energized for all the fun! Have a magical day!
