Some food choices seem to offer fruit as the side dish for kids. Our son with autism eats only bananas and specific type of applesauce for fruits. If those are not available, can he choose french fries?

    Hi Cherie,

On most of the kid's menus there is some small print that says french fries and soda can be substituted as a side/beverage upon request. As long as the location where you're dining serves french fries (most do) then you should have no problem making the substitution.

There are snack locations in each of the parks that sell whole, fresh bananas. They are about one dollar and you can also redeem snack credits for them if you're on one of the dining plans. Most of the breakfast buffets also offer bananas as part of the fresh fruit spread.

I hope this helps! Have a wonderful vacation!
