Hi there, Debra, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s great to have you hEAR!
I’m happy to report that you’re welcome to bring food and drinks into the
Disneyland Resort, so long as they follow a few simple rules. According to the
Disneyland Resort Rules, alcoholic beverages and glass containers aren’t allowed inside the Resort. Also, loose and dry ice aren’t allowed inside coolers, so I recommend packing a re-usable ice pack to keep your food and drinks cold. Speaking of coolers, you’ll want to make sure yours don’t exceed 24” long x 15” wide x 18” high.
As the mom of three Mouseketeers under the age of 8, I always keep extra snacks on hand! I like to pack granola bars, fruit snacks, chips, crackers, and food pouches. My children can’t get enough of Goofy’s Candy Co. Character Gummies, which are sold throughout the Resort, so I always stock up on those to help avoid toddler tantrums while waiting in lines!
If you plan on packing any meals, I recommend heading to the
Picnic Area, located just outside the Disneyland Park Main Entrance. There, you’ll find a comfortable, shaded spot to enjoy your meal. When you’re done, you can store your cooler or bag inside a handy nearby
Locker Rental.
Be sure to save room for the delicious treats available inside the Resort – my favorites are Mickey Bars,
DOLE WHIPS, popcorn,
Mickey Beignets, and of course,
Churros!
Last but certainly not least, be sure to stay hydrated in the parks with complimentary cups of ice water, available at any
quick-service dining location. This is a great way to avoid lugging around heavy water bottles all day!
I hope this helps, Debra. Please stop by with any additional questions… I’m all EARs!
