Hi Erynne,
Thanks for visiting planDisney. It sounds like you are considering a stay at Pixar Place! Opting for Club-level access is always a nice magical upgrade to your vacation. Let’s get into it and talk about
Pixar Place’s lounge, the Creator’s Club!
The Creator’s Club is open from 6:30 am to 8:00 pm. I spoke to a helpful Cast Member, and they confirmed for me that a continental breakfast with pastries, cereal, and fruit is served in the morning. Then, for the majority of the day, light snacks are set out for guests to enjoy, like fruit, soda, juices, and chips. At dinner, the Cast Members sets out various appetizers, and later in the night, there is a dessert bar. There is wine and beer available throughout the day. You may find that in the evening hours, there is a stationed bartender for the night. The food at the Creator's Club is brought in from
Great Maple (located in the lobby of the hotel), so I hear the food is a bit tastier compared to the other lounge.
As you begin your planning, I wanted to share some things to note, as the Creator’s Club differs from the experience at the other lounges. The Creator’s Club does not have an outdoor view comparable to the Veranda in the
Grand Californian or the former E-ticket Club in the
Disneyland Hotel. I know, for me, viewing the fireworks from the comfort of the lounge was a big bonus. While you won’t be able to see fireworks from the lounge, if you go down to the third floor pool deck, you can see the Disneyland fireworks from there. The hotel will also broadcast the accompanying music and dialogue from the show, so you won’t feel like you're missing out. The Creator's Club was a collaborative effort with Walt Disney Imagineering and Pixar Animation Studios, so there is memorabilia in the lounge to explore.
I also want to share some other news we have learned about the other
Resort lounges. The Disneyland Hotel is currently remodeling their lounge to relaunch as the High Key Club this summer. There is a temporary lounge on the lobby level of the Frontier Tower. The Grand Californian is planning to open an additional lounge, which is anticipated to be completed in 2026. I am not sure when you plan on visiting, but this information might be helpful in deciding where to stay.
I hope this information is helpful, Erynne. If you have any other questions or need help planning, feel free to reach out to me or one of my fellow panelists. We’d be happy to share our thoughts.
Happy planning!
