Follow-up about which to do 1st at Epcot? We have a fastpass+ 9-10am for Epcot Character Greet. Should we do Joy and Sadness then Anna & Elsa then come back to Future World to do Epcot Character Greet then the rest of FW or still do Anna & Elsa 1st

    Hi Nicholas,

    Welcome back! Decisions, decisions!

We like to consider geography when making plans, so we try to group our experiences with location in mind. There are a few other things to consider when making this decision - 1) Do you have a Fast Pass+ for Frozen Ever After?, 2) Are you doing a pre-park opening dining reservation?

Strategy 1 - If you do not have a pre-park opening dining reservation and you do not have a Fast Pass+ for Frozen Ever After, my advice would be to do Frozen Ever After and visit with Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus as the park opens. Then do your Fast Pass+ at Meet Disney Pals at the Epcot Character Spot and, afterwards, Meet Joy & Sadness at Headquarters. If you go this route, I suggest that you modify that Fast Pass+ for Meet Disney Pals at the Epcot Character Spot to 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. to give yourself time to get back. Without a pre-park opening dining reservation, I would arrive at Epcot at least 40 minutes prior to park opening.

Strategy 2 - If you want to keep your Meet Disney Pals at the Epcot Character Spot Fast Pass+ for 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. AND you have a Fast Pass+ for Frozen Ever After, then I suggest visiting Joy & Sadness after your Meet Disney Pals at the Epcot Character Spot Fast Pass+. Then greet Anna and Elsa immediately before or after your Fast Pass+ for Frozen Ever After. I just checked the wait time for meeting Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus and it was at 35 minutes in the My Disney Experience Mobile App. On our last visit, the wait was also about 35 minutes.

Nicholas, whatever you decide, try to group your experiences by location. Above all, go with what seems best for your family. Also, double-check the character meet and greet times on the day of your visit!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
