Kathleen, one more week - how are you able to contain your excitement? In my personal experiences, I have asked Cast Members to please snap photos with my smartphone camera as well as my personal camera. The PhotoPass photographer will usually use their equipment, even if you do not have Memory Maker, as you still are able to use Disney PhotoPass Service. (Please see a previous question I have answered which explains the difference between Memory Maker and Disney PhotoPass Service. Typically in the past, a Character Handler will take the photo for me with no problem. There may be times when they are unable to take photos for you, however it never hurts to ask. Is it time to go to Walt Disney World yet? Is it NOW?! How about now? Have the most magical time, Kathleen! ~Rachel
