I remember the first time I stepped inside the lobby of
Disney's Floridian Resort & Spa. I was only in pre-school at the time, but even at three, I knew I was somewhere truly special! From the beautiful high ceilings and the live pianist to that elegant glass elevator, I felt like I'd been transported straight into my favorite fairytale...and I was the princess! All these years later, the Grand Floridian still holds a special place in my heart and continues to deliver all the magic and luxury you'd expect of Disney World's flagship resort.
Nowadays, I love staying at the Grand Floridian with my family whenever we can. And when we do? Those stunning Deluxe Studios are always our go-to room! We just love the convenience of the mini kitchen, and of course, the extra space! Now, to answer your question, I should point out that there are actually two types of Deluxe Studios at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa: the Studio Villas, which are located in the main Disney Vacation Club building, and the newer Resort Studios, which are located in the Big Pine Key building. While the Resort Studios are jaw-droppingly gorgeous, they do
not offer a split bathroom. However, I'm happy to share that the Deluxe Studios in the original building do offer a split bathroom with a shower on one side and a combination tub/shower on the other. As a family of four, this bathroom set-up is always a game-changer, saving us precious minutes when we're all getting ready for the day.
