Hello, as a follow up to a recently submitted question. We will be at mk 1/31 and 2/5 until after wishes and until 10 2/3, which resort do u suggest for viewing the electrical water pagent and to travel by boat or monorail?

    Hi Kelley,

It really doesn't matter which resort you choose for viewing the Electric Water Pageant.  This whimsical, floating parade is easily seen from any of the resorts on Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon.  I do like to watch it from the beach at the Polynesian, simply because I can get a Dole Whip from Captain Cook's and (if I'm lucky), view the parade from a "porch" swing.

The parade starts at 9:00 p.m. and goes to the resorts in this order: Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness, Contemporary.

Now, on nights when there are Extra Magic Hours, the parade floats by Magic Kingdom around 10:20 p.m.  Since you'll be in Magic Kingdom on one of these nights.  If you're not too tired I would plan on seeing it from there on February 3.

The easiest way to travel to the Polynesian is via the resort monorail.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
